Creating a New Database Using the Export to Table Tool

The Export to Table tool can be used to create a new database.

Procedure

1. Drag the tool to the Workspace below the segment to be exported, ensuring that the segment has been run to validate the counts.
2. Click into the Target Database field and use the generic selector to select the Database that the table will be created on.
3. Enter a table name. To create a new database enter the new table name using the standard database table syntax, for example ANJTest.TestTable.
4. From the Mode drop-down menu select Create.
5. In the Selected Layout Area leave the resolution level at Resolution Table Layout.
6. Click Run. The Data Explorer will show a brand new database along with a table, with the a new database name.
